As Mr. Seas It for Social Media and Threatening Comments:

Student and staff safety is a priority. Given the recent events involving school threats and school shootings, we would ask that our parents speak with your children about social media and the proper way social media is to be used.
Our kids need to know that threatening comments made on social media (or anywhere else) has consequences.

Working with local law enforcement and the Adams County Prosecutor’s Office, all threats will be investigated and prosecuted accordingly.

Social media has many benefits. However, we need your help in informing your children of the proper use of social media so that we can maintain a safe, productive, and educational school environment. Thank you.

NAHS students in grades 7-12 will have the opportunity to participate in the OHYES! Survey again this fall. This is an anonymous survey that helps the district better understand youth health risk and protective behaviors in the community and across Ohio. The OHYES! Survey is a collaborative effort by the Ohio Departments of Education, Health, and Mental Health and Addiction Services and numerous other programs advocating for youth. Our school is participating in this important effort.

Your child's privacy is strictly protected. No identifying information is collected on the survey. Student responses are combined and reported as a group of 15 or more.

The survey can be viewed at the school office or online (

More information about the survey can be found here. Information on how to opt out of the survey can be found here.
